Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA

Lassen National Park is often considered the “Little Yellowstone” of Northeastern California. Tucked away near the Northern tip of the Sacramento Valley, the National Park contains 106,000 acres of forest, thermal features, lakes, cinder cones, lush vegetation, wildlife, and volcanic rock. Lassen Peak marks the Southern gateway to the Cascade mountain range, which features volcanic mountains up to Southern British Columbia.
