Telling a story through nature - (Arc’teryx, Instagram sequence post):
As potential clients shuffle through the photographic sequence, featuring Instagram’s signature 1x1 ratio, there is a story being told and a sense of discovery involved. First, we see a climber’s rope sitting on top of a rock formation looking out into the landscape. Next, we see a uniquely featured rock formation. In the next image, we see another formation framed by opposing rock faces. There is also some exciting contrast at play, positive and negative space. Finally, we discover the climber as he looks out into the wilderness, he is confident and content with his day of exploration. We do not see the climber's face which allows the consumer to embody that person at that moment. “Anyone can be here including me!” The Arc’teryx gear is front and center waiting to be discovered.
